Inpatient Staff Pharmacist
Medication Safety

You will provide Pharmacy leadership in the area of medication safety. You will coordinate ongoing, proactive processes to evaluate and improve safe medication strategies by developing a systematic process of surveillance of current practices to identify areas of vulnerability. You will monitor and measure the achievement of process improvement projects. You will participate in review of formulary additions, automated dispensing cabinet inventory decisions, and the development of new standard order sets.

In this role, you will also serve as co-chair of the Medication Safety Subcommittee of P&T and act as a liaison representing the Department of Pharmacy Services in safe medication practice issues.

Hours: Usually Monday-Friday day shift, with rotations onto weekends, and holidays.
